TRNC Council of Ministers bans three people from the country

The TRNC Council of Ministers have declared three people as banned immigrants.

The decisions were published in the Official Gazette on Monday December 30.

Accordingly, Bahtyyar Karyagdyyev and his wife Jennet Musayeva were declared banned immigrants under the relevant law because they sent invitation letters to some individuals residing in Turkmenistan so that they could easily enter the north of Cyprus, and thus enabled them to come to the country and gain benefits.

The third individual, Bülent Liçis, was declared a banned immigrant in accordance with the relevant law because he was wanted by the Bakırköy 5th Criminal Court of Peace for the crime of “Fraud”, by the Gaziantep 3rd Criminal Court of Peace for the crime of “Fraud by Using Information Systems, Banks or Credit Institutions as a Tool”, and by the Sakarya 2nd Criminal Court of Peace for the crime of “Fraud by Using Information Systems, Banks or Credit Institutions as a Tool”.
