4.4 earthquake shakes Paphos, south Cyprus
An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale struck off the western coast of Cyprus on Tuesday evening, the Geological Survey Department reported.
The tremor was recorded at 8:22 p.m. local time, with its epicenter located 30 kilometers west of Paphos, according to initial estimates from the monitoring centre.
The earthquake was felt across Paphos, though there were no immediate reports of damage.
