Police arrest man in Lefkosa for breaking into a house and stealing two mobile phones

One Michael Matsıktı has been arrested on suspicion of breaking into a man's house in Lefkosa and stealing two mobile phones.

According to report, the suspect entered the house of Erdas Başar and stole two mobile phones and 1000 Turkish Lira.
 
The incident reportedly happened at Karanfil Street between 1:20 - 2.00 am on Friday. He is said to have broken through the kitchen glass window with a hard object.  

He then took the mobile phones and money and left through the kitchen door.

The suspect was arrested by the police and charged to a Lefkosa court on Friday for "opening a house" and "intentional damage." 
 
Court judge ordered the suspect to remain in custody for three days.
