Paper Round: Chelsea and Liverpool to battle for Aubameyang, Real back in for De Gea

It's Friday's Paper Round and the papers are reporting that Chelsea and Liverpool are going to battle over Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang whilst Real Madrid are set to table another offer for Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea.

Chelsea and Liverpool battle for Aubameyang
The Sun report that Premier League duo Chelsea and Liverpool will go head-to-head for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. According to the report, Liverpool are the favourites due to Aubameyang's relationship with Jurgen Klopp but Chelsea's financial muscle gives them a chance.

Our view: Aubameyang has been quiet on the transfer market recently and out of nowhere he has become the object of battle between two rival clubs. before now he was 'certain' to be off to China so could a move to the Premier League materialize? Watch this space.

Real Madrid to go back in for De Gea
Moving The Star who report that Manchester United are bracing themselves for yet another bid from Real Madrid for their goalkeeper David De Gea. The report says that the bid will be £60 million but it will be outright rejected as United have no intention of selling De Gea.

Our view: Everyone has been waiting for Madrid to make a move for the Spanish number one this summer. The last time Madrid made an offer for De Gea, the move failed due to late paper work and De Gea stayed at United extending his contract with the club but since then things have changed between both clubs. And just recently, there has been bad blood between them due to Madrid's refusal to let United sign striker Morata, so expect United to pay them back in their own coin.

Wilshere to be fit for new season
Staying with The Star and it is reported that Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere will be fit for the new season. Wilshere has had no offers from the summer as Arsenal and other clubs wait to see how he recovers from his latest injury. One option according to the report is that Wilshere could run down his contract at the club and hope a return to form sees an upturn in offers.

Our view: Wilshere? Oh he was meant to be Arsenals future but how things change so quickly. His loan at Bournemouth was a success and a permanent move away from Arsenal this summer seems doubtful due to his injury.

West Ham on brink of Hart move
Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is on the brink of signing for West Ham according to The Mail. The England goalkeeper spent last season on loan at Torino but is out of favour with City boss Pep Guardiola. The report says that West Ham will initially sign the keeper on loan with the option to buy him permanently.

Our view: Hart needs to get his career back on track and he knows well that his City career is from over. The move will certainly be the right one for both parties.
