ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi ‘killed by US air strike in Raqqa’ Syria

Syria: ISIS leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has reportedly been killed on Sunday morning in a US air strike in Raqqa, Syria.

In a statement on Abna24 website, it said;
“Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been killed by coalition air strikes on Raqqa on the fifth day of Ramadan,”.
The report is yet to be confirmed by US officials as there has been series of false reports and claims about his death previously.
Also contradicting reports about the location of his death have circulate with some saying he died in Raqqa, Syria while others claim it was in Mosul, Iraq which are both ISIS strongholds.
In a statement by Iraqi security forces, it said;
 “Iraqi aircraft hit Baghdadi’s convoy as it was moving towards Karabia to attend a meeting of the Daesh terrorist leaders.”
The public affairs chief of the US-led coalition against ISIS, Colonel Chris Garver said he had heard international media were sharing the report, but he could not confirm that it was true.
Some media source also warned the public not to believe al-Baghdadi was dead.
